Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital to Break Ground on New 52-Bed Tower

(November 2007) - On Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 1:00pm, Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital will break ground on a new 52-bed tower. The $51 million dollar expansion will be located at the front of the campus of the existing facility located at 3080 College Street. The ceremony will take place at the front of the facility adjacent to the Terrace Café and will feature comments from David Parmer - CEO, Bo Crawford - Chairman of the Board, Steven Socher, MD - Chief of Staff and Guy Goodson, former mayor of Beaumont.

The $51 million expansion will be an answer to the critical needs of our community. The addition will boast 52 new private rooms with telemetry monitoring which allows the nurses to monitor the vital signs of the patients on a continued basis while at their workstations. The 15 month construction project is scheduled for completion in Spring 2009.
