Rehabilitation Services
Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital has specialized rehabilitation services that offer comprehensive, individualized programs for patients with rehabilitation needs due to illness an/or injury. These specialized services are available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
Rehabilitation Services include a 10-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility designed to accommodate specific patient populations appropriate for general physical medicine and a fully functional outpatient center. Age range for patients accepted is sixteen years and above. This inpatient program is designed to treat patients whose primary diagnosis include: stroke, spinal cord injury, congenital deformities, amputation, total joint replacement, polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, burns, multiple trauma, fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy, muscular dystrophy, and Parkinson’s Disease. Rehabilitation Services are provided by Psychiatrists, Physical Therapist, Rehab Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists.

Physical Therapy
Our Outpatient Physical Therapy Department focuses on caring for individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by disease or injury. Outpatient Physical Therapy can assist individuals whose impairment is related to neurological, musculoskeletal or cardiovascular systems. Our services are directed toward assessing ability or disability, relieving pain, preventing disability and/or further deformity, developing or improving body skills, restoring function and maintaining maximum performance within individual capabilities. Our Physical Therapists develop, coordinate and utilize selected knowledge and skills in individualizing a plan specific to individual needs.
